Hey all,
I know, it's probably stupid (and easy) question, but how do I attach the black metal bases to the speakers? I mean, the speakers slide into the holes but can still be moved. How do you fix them?
Thanks,
Kai
The pole has a thread, so how about a nut?
(and a washer, your friendly seller probably kept all these fasteners for some important purpose)

Thanks! Yes, seems like it. Do you know the appropriate diameter?
M8 says the service manual. The washer seems to be a split type to help the nut to stay tight, but that’s hardly critical.
Thanks very much tournedos, shouldn't be too much of a problem.
I have just compared pre ABL Lab 8000s to post ABL Lab 8000s by the way. Very different sound...

Could you elaborate please? Describe the difference as you heard it? I've always heard the oldest ones sounded different but have never heard in what way. Thanks! My 8000s are from the 97-98 timeframe.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Will do in a separate thread, Jeff.

But be careful not to use too much force on fastening the nut - the bolt could break as it's a little weak
Been there, done that
