I've searched as best I can but can't find the answer to this!

I've been lucky to have purchased a Beovision 7-40 TV which I was informed was a MK5.  However, the info I've gleaned on here and the internet seems to indicate that the MK5 came out in 2010 and my TV has the legend 'B&O MMIV' (I'm guessing this is 2004).  The label on TV reverse says [type - 9644] and [Item - 1807487]... can anyone give guidance?

Many thanks.

I’m pretty sure the 2004 refers to when the 7-40 was launched, not its Mk 5 variant.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Thanks Chris.  Is there a definitive way to tell which 'MK' it is?

Look for the type number on the white piece of paper on rear. Should be four numbers then google it.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

To tell the exact age you need the serial number it is 8 digits starting with 21* or 22

type 9644 should be MK5😊
