Happy sunday to all of you.

I have a small! problem with my Beolab 5's. They don't turn on!.

Beolab 5's are connected to Beovision 10. I've check the source with the other speakers; cables and Beovision 10 are ok.

The speakers don't give any failure. The lights are red as they are on standy by.

When I press the button on top calibration starts and ends normally.

I connected Beolab's 5 to Beosystem 4500 and result is the same they don't turn on.

Unplugged and checked again. Nothing changed.

What can be the problem? Any idea?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Bulent

I've tried different Link Options. Option 1 turns the speakers on but still no sound.

Do you use the PL cables, that come with the BL5’s?

They have to be fully wired/MK2 cables - the thick ones.

Look here for an explanation of the different types of PL cables:

Thank you for the messages. First of all I can't understan why the system change my nickname to Rothna! Anyway, this is not important.

I'm not new in B&O world neither Beolab 5's in my house. I bought them new and they worked until last week with the same cable. So the cables are fully wired. I also have the original BL5 cables. They didn't bring anything either.

I belive BL5's were working until the replacement Beo 1 remote arrived. This was setted up for Eclipse. I've change the setup to Beovision and done deal. But it can be a coincidence...

B&O customer support thinks that is a software problem! Suggest me to call a technician.

If the BR1 is a Bluetooth, and the Eclipse doesn't have the BL5's set up properly in the menu, this could be the issue?
