I travel semi-frequently for work, and I've noticed that during take-off my H9i's do a bit of popping. Needless to say, it stops once we're well off the ground.

Anyone else notice this? Is this due to change in cabin pressure? Or maybe it's the ANC trying to sort out the loud rumble of the plane as the engines rev up for take-off?

I hear the same pops during landing, which is when the decibels reach their highest, so I'm leaning more toward the ANC having a difficult time trying to work out what's up.

I believe you answered the question yourself Wink

ACN is for blocking noice, not sound.

I also heard the popping sound, I think that its when the sound for the noisecanceling  is to loud this happens and what you hear is simply the clipping of the mics!
