Config tool 6.00 and Windows 8

Hello Everyone,
The 6.00 ct works well with Windows 7 64 bit and Beo6
Now I have windows 8 on my computer and he says he can not install the driver
I get the error Failure microsoft-INF does not contain digital signature information
Anyone here knows a solution
I also looked up how digital signatures can circumvent but can not find it
Have to Windows helpdesk called but who say I should inform manufacturer
Help does anyone know a solution for that problem
Have been a couple of days to search

B&O's does not have have their driver digitally signed which means you will need to install it manually.

In true Microsoft style it makes it very difficult (but not impossible) to bypass "Driver Signature Enforcement"

Unlike all other versions of Windows which support digitally sign drivers to bypass the enforcement system can ONLY be done in the operating system "Startup Settings"

Here is the procedure which assumes you are logged into Windows 8

1. Press WIN + I to launch the CHARM BAR and click Change PC Settings at the bottom.
2. In General scroll to the bottom of the page, click "Restart Now Button" under "Advanced Startup" section.
3. After Windows 8 reboots click "Troubleshooting"
4. Then Click "Advanced Options"
5. Now Click "Startup Options"
6. The forth item down in the list is "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
7. Click the Restart Button and a new menu will appear after it reboots
8. Press either the "7" key or "F7"
9. Now you will get the Window which you would normally see on earlier versions of Windows to allow you to bypass signature enforcement

In both Wista and Windows7 my version 6 of the tool crashes when it reaches the Logopart. Any suggestions? I have reinstalled it from scratch without any result. In W7 its also problems with the USB-driver. Why is it always problems with B&Os software?

Hi, could you provide a link for CT 6or 5.12 for me? my beo6 does not work with the 4.11 and i am going crazy to find the newer versions in the web, its hopeless.... thanks in advance

Does the configuration tool need Windows 8 Pro, or is just the standard Windows 8 sufficient? The only thing that I need Windows for is for the B&O configuration tool.

Beste Boem,

Waar heb jij de CT6.00 vandaan geplukt? Ik ben al enige tijd op zoek gezien mijn 5.12 niet meer download naar mijn BEO5 en BEO 6.

Could you please clarify? Are you saying that I need to buy the Windows 8 Pro instead of just the standard Windows 8? As I said, I would only be buying Windows for using the configuration tool. The "Pro" version is double the cost.

I have the same problem! The tool is very unstable and crashes often. I am running CT6.00 on a Windows7 32 bit set-up.

Any suggestions how to resolve this?
