Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to switch from wifi to a wired Ethernet connection for my Essence mk2.

Is it just a matter of plugging the cable in, leaving its current wifi configuration as-is? Should I deactivate the wifi connection somewhere in the B&O App ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mauro,

You don’t need to configure anything more. Just plug in the Ethernet cable. That’s how I use mine. Then if I move the Essence around the apartment far from the router, I just unplug the Ethernet cable and it remembers the wireless credentials.

My Beosound Essence MK II does not connect to my network via cable.

Wireless works just fine.

Since I have this issue with 2 Beosounds I guess it is either my network or the Beosounds running the same (latest) software....

Any idea where I could find release notes?

Thanks in advance.

Ralf
