Hi everyone!
So I finally got my BL7000 working, however I have one question. I get two way communication as it should, except I do not get an indication of volume level on the red display. Does 9500 communicate volume level to the BL7000 or is that something only the Beosystem 7000 is capable of doing?
Thanks, Armand.
Not only is my 9500's status data, including volume, transmitted to my Beolink 7000, but if I press buttons on the 9500's display/keypad instead of the remote, the remote turns itself off instantly. (Note: my remote was configured initially by adding components to a 7000 system, so the fact that it controls and receives data from the 9500 when in that room is incidental. I do not know its behavior if you configure the remote while it's talking to a 9500 initially.)
Hi,
I've always thought that having volume status show on the BL7000 was an indication that two way was working. No volume = no two way. I have 3 BL7000s that all work with my BM7000, all show volume.
I'm sure there are other ways to verify two way if you search the forum.
good luck,
Bill
Thanks for responding!
I got it working, turns out I just needed to re program the components. I don’t know why but that fixed everything, I have full two way functionality now!
