Hello,
I have bought a pair of Beloab 18s and would like to place them in the link room. There I have a MCL2AV to which I have connected the BL18. With the Beolink 1000 I can change the volume and also the sound setting by pressing the sound button several times. How can I save the selected sound ( treble / bass ) settings permanently ?
By pressing Sound Store Store the settings are not stored permanently.

Storing the volume setting by pressing the Sound Store button will work.

The MCL2AV has SW 2.3 installed.

Cheers

Reinhard

I may be wrong but I don't think this is possible.  As far as I am aware there is no bass/treble control within the MCL2AV circuitry - I think it just passes the command back to the Audiomaster in the central room.  It would therefore be illogical to be able to set the default main room bass/treble from the link room.

Volume setting is different because the MCL2AV does have limited volume control circuitry built in.

Page 9 of the guide on this link suggests that permanent settings are possible with a Beo4 remote.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if that works.

That's for the Beolink Passive.  The OP has the older MCL system with an MCL2AV.

My mistake. I thought the operation might be similar.

Hello David,

thanks for the Manual link. It helps to adjust the sound with a Beo4, it is easier as with the Beolink 1000.

Changing of sound works fine, but saving the settings does not.

Thank for your help.

Reinhard
