Добрый день! Простите за глупый вопрос, я новичок на форуме. Подскажите пожалуйста, как сделать подключения как на картинке? Спасибо
Assuming you have everything in the picture, all you need is a "PC to BL Active" cable which Steve at Sounds Heavenly probably has on hand. Your b&o dealer might, but I always had problems with them ordering the wrong cable when I did this. It is NOT the same as an AUX-in cable.
A couple comments:
1) Your title says "Beolink Passive", but the diagram shows a "Beolink Active". If you have a Passive it is a different cable (which, again, you can probably get from Steve at Sounds Heavenly).
2) If you have an Active, then the Active must be connected to a working BeoLink Master (i.e. Beosound or Beovision that supports ML) via MasterLink
3) If you actually have a Passive, then this can run just fine without a MasterLink master. However, as the name suggests, the BL Passive supports passive speakers (no built-in amplifier).

Thank you very much for your reply! Sorry, I was wrong, I have Biolink Active. I ordered a wire on eBay, as in the photo. I was advised this wire

Looks like you have everything.. although your Active must have an IR receiver. Now, just hook everything up, and press "PC" on your Beo4 to hear what your phone is playing. You may need to add the PC command to your remote. The instructions on how to add additional commands to a Beo4 can be found on the site somewhere (I don't remember myself). The audio from the cable only plays on the speakers connected to the Active.
Thank you so much! I also have an IR receiver, from only the PC command I can’t find it: (Or I’m looking in the wrong place
Found information "PC" Beo4 ... It turns out that I have an old version of Beo4 that does not support the "PC" function :(
Thank you so much for responding to me!
On you beo4:
1) Hold down the red dot button and the LIST button until the screen says "ADD?"
2) Press OK
3) Scroll (up/down arrow) through the options until you find "PC"
4) Press OK
5) Screen should say "ADDED"
6) Press LIST repeatedly until the screen shows "PC"
7) Press OK
8) Sit back, relax, enjoy music :D
Thank you so much! I do so, but there are no PC features on this list. I read that I have an older Beo4 and do not have a PC function yet :(

I`m pretty sure, your 5 pin cable (?) in the picture won`t work - the PC socket has a special wiring with pins 2 - 4 - 7 for L-R-GND.
You will find more info in the archived forum.
Hope this helps

Maybe you can manage to press SHIFT (as a LIST function) and STORE (as a hard button...) This will send the same IR code as "PC".
Thanks, I'll try now)
You’ll laugh now, but I don’t have a Store button on the remote either :))))
I have the same as in the picture
To check the SW version of your Beo4 remote
Press GO and MENU at the same time then press LIST three times. What does it say?
SW:3.0
Thanks for that hint

No problem.
You do need to find a BL1000 or a newer (min SW3.4) Beo4 to get the PC function. You can find them easily on eBay and probably sell your old Beo4 for a similar amount.
Thank you very much for the advice, I will then buy a newer one, and then try to sell the old one! Thanks again!
Good afternoon! I sold my old Beo4, and bought a newer one with the PC function. Connections are being made. Please tell me is it possible to somehow connect according to this scheme, so that 4 speakers play?
Yes, you can drive 4 speakers. If they are BL4000, 60000 or 1s, you can "daisy chain" them on powerlink. That is, these speakers have both an input and an output so you can run a powerlink cable from the Active to speaker 1, then from speaker 1 to speaker 2, and so forth. The speakers have a switch to select whether it plays the left or right channel as the powerlink cable carries both channels.
If you have BL8000 or some other speaker that doesn't have the output PL port, then you need to buy 3 powerlink splitters, and the cable goes from Active to splitter1, the output of splitter1 goes to speaker 1 and splitter 2, the output of splitter 2 goes to speaker 2 and splitter 3, etc.
Obviously, you can mix and match daisy chaining and splitters to meet your requirements (maybe you first split the PL and have one side go to your R speakers and one side go to your L speakers to make your cable run easier. Again, the PL carries both L and R channels and you need to set the switch on the speaker appropriately regardless of daisy chaining or splitters.
Thank you very much! Yes, I have such an opportunity to connect in the speakers. I thought that through BeoLink Active I would be able to control the speakers so that two speakers would play first, and when I wanted, I could also use BeoLink Active to add two more speakers. So not how it is impossible?
Maybe I misunderstood your question.
If you connect all 4 speakers to the Active, then all 4 will always play.
If you have 2 speakers connected to the Master (Beosound / BeoVision) and 2 connected to the Active, then you can listen to either 2 (2 at Master, 2 at Active) or all 4. The Master can play any of its sources, but it cannot play what you have connected to the Active through the PC port. The Active can play any Master source or the PC source.
