Hi,

I have a pair of BeoBox 3000 passive Loudspeakers, flat panel, type 6716 and a MCL 2P Amplifier.
What I understand the BeoVox 3000 has 8 Ohms Impedance.

I have a simple DVD-player with HDMI-connection.

I have also a couple of Din Plug Scew Connect, Male.

What do I need to play CD-music with this speakers?
Do I need the MCL 2P Amplifier at all if the is some other solution? mean, do I need to buy a MCL 2AV to make it work? Or a new stereo system without any speakers which can run passive speakers?

Sincerely,
Esa Nyberg

In addition to that:

If you use a Beomaster with an amp built in (e.g. a beomaster 4500), you will not need the 2P.

Just connect DVD player (R/L output) to the Beomaster and also the speakers.
