I have a Beo5 which I program with the version 6 config tool. I used an old 32 bit windows pc specially for programming the beo5. Unfortunately my PC died last week.

All my other pc's at home are Apple MacBooks and iMac.

What are the recommendations from the forum? Can I run the config tool on a 64-bit IMac? Or should I buy a new windows pc? The Beo5 requires a 32bit, but most pc's nowadays are 64 bit. Any recommendations which PC would be right for me?

Regards

Buy Parallels or use Bootcamp and run Windows on the mac . I did this to program my Beo5 in the past.

Whilst most PC's today use 64 bit architecture, you can still install a 32 bit Windows operating system on 64 bit hardware.

The issue of 64 bit vs 32 bit as far as the Beo5 is concerned relates to the USB driver which means you will need to connect it to a Windows PC for reliable operation.
