James. Getting away with it (all messed up).

Damn fine tune playing on H3s at the gym.

Duels, did that song pick you up the gym?  or are you running to the song at the gym?

I normally need something more upbeat like Commander by Kelly Rowland or the like tempo. I had to make a running mix, and had Animals by Maroon 5 and a few like that.

Ed... B&O in the wild with that dude - since when did the train seats have the (train) lines on them?  It must be so long now since I have been on a train.  I would have spoke to him whether he likes his A8 or not or i3 or whatever they're known as now.

I know what you men but the tempo is prefect for for me cycling. Its sounds like a low key tune but it isn't. It's probably not much different from Commander if you let the bass and the drum start. Full pedal revolution each drum beat. You'll be surprised!

I'm having a George Michael-a-thon to celebrate the life of a marvellous talent. I was really shocked.

I recently watched him on carpool karaoke and thought it was my favourite.

RIP GM

Another in the wild ... a very tasteful Japanese arts and crafts store ... and in the corner with a matching colour scheme ...

Bing Crosby Merry Christmas, repressing of original DECCA LP, unmolested. Mono recording and simply wonderful. It is all good but I bought the new pressing rather than an original as the vinyl is not 60 years old, & I am glad I did.

Not heard her before; could not find that recording on Apple Music so instead I downloaded a range of albums over three decades.

First audition has been "Personal Jesus".

Not my usual subject matter - and maybe not hers ?

However she has an interesting voice (well worn Smile) and a tremendous sense of energy.

Surprise really !?!

It's not "new" effectively, but I added this (like for GrandMaster Flash) because I thought it was known Embarrassed (compared to the others - that I like a lot...)

New York / New York is indeed difficult to find (don't know why, certainly a matter of rights), but it's on YouTube.

Try African Reggae, another hit of Nina Hagen Smile

High bitrate radio "Positively Baroque" (classical organ)

TuneIn --> Beosound 35 (directly front the command panel)

I have to say that the BS35 is good at playing organ music !

The Grass Roots "Their 16 Greatest Hits" album on 8-Track via my new Beolab 5000. This is the perfect "period" piece, the late sixties in a musical nutshell...... delightful. How I love my AKAI 8-Track Recorder, which is JUST as "period" as the Grass Roots. Amazing songs: Midnight Confessions, Where were you when I needed you?, Wait a Million Years, etc. OMG

We were in our local coffee shop and she says

"they are playing nice music today"

I said ask 'what playlist is it'

"Triple J like a version"

So here I am back home listening to quality (I am sure she will say "that is NOT what they were playing") sound on the BL20s ... Google Cast ... Spotify Premium ...

Spurred by CB's installation of optical connections on his BL5s ... I coupled my BL20s via optical ... and then spent some three hours playing tracks to demonstrate improved separation- sound stage- range of sound levels .... Adele's "21" recording's sound levels were especially powerful via this new connection

So yes.

However Sue complains about the sound being "harsh".

And she does not like the flaws in vintage recordings being accentuated.

She still loves the BL 6000s and their BL 11.

You may have noticed they are colocated with BL 20s Laughing

Meaning, Sue plays through the BL6000/11 and you through the BL20 on the same location?

By the way how do you control the volume of rhe BL20's, when playing via optical (as shown in the picture)?

1/ yes same location. Essence drives BL20s usually; BeoSound 4 drives BL 6000s via a daisy chain from the BL 11.

2/ volume was controlled by sliders in the app which was iTunes; either via MacBook or via Remote app on the iPhone from a relaxed listening position.

but as a fan of Coco Chanel she believes black is a colour Big Smile
