hello all,

just looking at a Beomaster 8000 - Typ 1903, which is the US version

after studying the service manual and the assigned diagram of the power supply

my question:    is there a way of setting this one up for operation with 240 VAC ?

I noticed the diagram show the various types, incl. typ 1905 for 240 VAC and the different rating of fuses in section 7 .

I can not imagine changing the fuses there will give you the go ahead for  operation with 240VAC ??

perhaps one of you experts could enlighten me ? :-)

thank you kindly for your suggestion - ALF

You will either need a suitably rated step down transformer or some UK spec transformers out of a scrap unit I am afraid.
