I have an issue with my beautiful white 5500 turntable. When it is plugged in to the mains, the motor starts on its own. It won't stop spinning unless I unplug it from the mains...

I'm hoping it's an easy fix, as it is in excellent condition. Can anyone help???

What happens if you put a record on and try a full play cycle?  Once the LP is finished does it continue to spin or stop?

Does sound like a stuck button.  Give them a good few pushes to see if it releases anything.

Dave.
