Hello,

The beolab 5 do have a power cord that doesn't go far enough for me.

Is it good idea to add an extension cord or one of those common surge protectors?

Thank you

I would advise buying a longer power cord (they are freely available)................ and put a surge protector on it at the end rather than using an extension.

Hello Maab,

Welcome to the forum!  Power cords are generally available in a range of lengths up to 10 metres (approx. 35 feet).  As King of Snake says, you should always go for a single length of lead instead of using extensions where possible.

If you need any help finding suitable cables, please feel free to ask.

Kind regards,

Steve.
