Hi all,
I have had this BV3 from new for seven years with no problem.
Recently I switched off the TV by means of the bottom right mechanical switch to do some wall painting.
When I wanted to switch on the TV again, to my horror, it won't come back on!
I think it is just the switch that is not working but are there any other ways to revive the TV before I call in the maintenance to charge me eye watering price just for something simple?
Thanks

Perhaps it is asking for the PIN code - this security feature can be initiated when the TV has been switched off from the mains for some time, but you should see a PIN request at the top of the screen.
Thanks Guy.
It won't even power on so I don't think it is the root of the problem.
There is not even the red light so I think so how I killed the switch.
Check the fuse in the mains plug first!
If the set was moved is it possible that the mains lead is slightly out of the back of the set? Wouldn't be the first time ;-)

Replaced the fuse and checked the plug.
still no luck
Thanks for all for the tips.
I decided to replaced the BV3 with my old 32" BV7 from the living room and bought a 40" BV10.
Sad to see the BV3 go.......
