Ok, I just bought a new car... And because I'm a geek, it's not a sexy car (in fact it is quite ugly...), I had no choice for the color...

But now, I'm driving 100% electric, and that's just the coolest thing possible : fast, powerful enough, and no noise at all... I'm in love with electric cars! Now my car uses the same power as my B&O stuff

diisign.com

Mbee I also drove a imiev for 3 months during the Victorian electric vehicle trial. Because at the time I also worked for the company doing the trial I also had the opportunity to also test the Nissan leaf. If you love the imiev you will love the leaf more ;)

I love electric cars.

Are you surprised how much room there is in the back seat? I was

My Accord, the Blue Steed, is nearing the end of her lease. Crying She isn't even gone yet and I already miss her - a lot. For the past 4 months or so I've been visiting her on the weekends, just to taker her for a spin.

My new motor is a hand-me-down from the family, an Acura RL. This is a pic I stole off the internet. I would have taken a pic myself, but my backyard here on campus is not a very elegant one! Laughing This is definitely an upgrade, but the Accord will remain my favorite!

So far, the name consensus on my new car is 'Great white'. A reference to the shark fin on the roofLaughing

30 euros? What a ripoff. I once managed to get a ticket in Lefkada, Greece: 65€. I'm sure only tourists have to pay it.

Funny, it's "Lappuliisa" in Finnish. And you can't pay them off either. They don't use any wheel attachments though, but the car will be towed away eventually (after a too long time).

I've tried the ion/c-zero (not the imiev which has a slight difference : you have user-selectable drive modes, here it's fully automatic, and I've also tried the Tesla Roadster Sport, which is just marvelous, and the Nissan Leaf.

The Nissan is surely better for range, space and comfort... But I got a great deal on the Peugeot : there was a clearance of the stock in France, 10900€ brand new, all included Cool

Just bought a 1984 Saab 900 Turbo (8 Valve) with rather serious engine problems, project for this winter/next summer (deadline is December 2013 - then I can finally get a historic registration (30 years since first registration) and lower tax (190€ compared to over 500€ right now)).

In the UK, if registered before 1973, there is no road tax. This is mine!

I am in the midst of replacing the front suspension - I am getting rid of my trunnions! Lots of shiny bits ready to go on!

Did the interior this year - it was shadow blue but I always wanted red leather! I suppose if I could have anything, an XK120 would be my choice, but this is very affordable and easy to work on!

No front suspension at present!!

Pardon me for being a numpty but what exactly is it - it looks to have the bonnet of a GT6 but the soft top of a Spitfire!

I'm very sad at the moment........ I had to let this go as I couldn't justify keeping it when I recently got a new job with a company car....

Here's the link.... I've forgotten how to upload pictures!
