Chris:I wonder why it should been better without getting another update
I did a library reset again last evening.Once the process was completed, i.e. check mark on in the About page (which does not mean that all my tracks and album are available for playing yet), I tried the MoodWheel middle ring and all was ok, each point had its own sequence of numerous tracks mixing my own collection and other similiar mood tracks.At some point, once my DLNA library was completely processed (I can see that when the BeoMusic app shows me the real number of tracks and albums sitting on the NAS), I noticed that the MoodWheel was faded and not operating, sign to me that some processing was going on in the background.This morning I checked again, the middle ring is operating as expected, I simply noticed a small difference with previous behavior: once you have pressed a point, only one track is shown to be played but within less than a minute other tracks are added to the list.
I will see this evening if the status is the same and I'll test the other rings.

I did the following yesterday, in accordance what Deezer asked me. It brought no solution so far this morning...
I answered Deezer today:
I tried the solution your team proposed, but it did not help to my problem with the Beosound Moment’s MoodWheel. The outer and middle ring of the MoodWheel are not playing any content from Deezer. Let me explain in detail what I have been trying now: - I unplugged the device several minutes completely from power. This brought no solution. - The Beosound Moment has the latest update from May 11, version SW 1.7.7.1155-1.7.399.223963144 - (a:) I removed my Deezer credentials from the Beosound Moment service settings menu (picture-1), and added them again (account: xxxxxxxxxxx). This brought no solution. - (b:) I removed my Deezer credentials from the Beosound Moment service settings menu and removed the Beosound Moment app from my account/applications on the Deezer website (picture-2). Next, I done a complete factory reset of the Beosound Moment. - (c:) After the factory reset was done I unplugged the Beosound Moment completely from power and restarted the Beosound Moment after a couple of minutes. - I reconfigured the Beosound Moment from a factory fresh start and added my Deezer credentials to the Beosound Moment service settings menu app. Next, I looked into my account at the Deezer website for a reappearance of the Beosound Moment app in the applications. The app was reappearing again, but this brought no solution. The strange thing is that the fault in the Moodwheel on the Beosound Moment only appeared after receiving the above mentioned software update on May, 11 from B&O. Before receiving this latest update, the MoodWheel was working well. To avoid confusion, only the MoodWheel with the outer (picture-3) and middle ring (picture-4) is not giving me any Deezer content. This should be content coming from Deezer. The inner ring (picture-5) plays content from my own DLNA collection, this works well as you can see on the pic. Searching for music or playing a Deezer playlist from the Beosound Moment user’s menu works, I can view all my Deezer playlists and listen to them (picture-6). It’s only when I want to use the the MoodWheel for listening to Deezer moods, that it gives me no content.

I have done the following test: (1) disconnect my Deezer account (2) reset the library (3) wait for the harvest to be done (confirmed by BeoTool) (4) go to sleep
After 8 hours, guess what? Middle and outer rings are faded, which is normal as Deezer is not configured, the inner ring has a reduced number of seeds instead of 1000, and between 0 and 10 tracks are following the seed, so I can play less than different 100 tracks using the MoodWheel ....... Fyi I have 32959 tracks according to BeoMusic.
Conclusion: Without Deezer the Moment MoodWheel does not operate as expected either, why would B&O blame Deezer for the outage then????
Hi, to all fans of the Beosound Moment.
Its been almost one month, after the latest software update, I encountered problems with the MoodWheel. It started to become a habit to take a test every day if there was any improvement.
This morning, like doing a ritual, I pressed once more on the middle ring and to my surprise it started playing content from Deezer for the first time in a month. I'm excited? No, not directly, there was a downside to it.
Deezer stopped playing after some 5 tracks. Simply, absolutely unexpectedly…
I pushed again on the middle ring, at another place. It started playing again… for some more or less 10 tracks.
Now I tried the outer ring (must be content exclusive of Deezer) and this time it plays randomly now for one hour…Then the music stops again. But there seems to be some strange improvement. Every push on the MoodWheel gives me a longer listening time.
At present there was no update available from B&O to the Moment, so who fixed my MoodWheel?
I did received in the past week(s) some answer from BeoCare:
- That they were aware of the problem.
- They will pass my problem to the team.
- To contact my dealer for a new MoodWheel (I did’t know the MoodWheel was hardware made?)
No really helpful solutions… And most important of all, no acknowledgment that the MoodWheel indeed was malfunctioning.
A couple of weeks ago I contacted Deezer and explained my problem. I get a very friendly answer that their team could not reproduce my problem with the Moment’s MoodWheel. So I wrote another mail to Deezer, this time I enclosed all necessary details with pictures, my Deezer account credentials, and…
Now I get another answer last Friday, that this information is very valuable and they would had a immediate look into this.
Could the problem come from Deezer and not from B&O? Would the problem lie with my account and the device’s app the Moment is running?
I don’t know who fixed it, but I presume it is Deezer. B&O or Deezer has no remote entrance to my Moment, so it has to be almost certainly Deezer who did some maintenance at my account.
I’m not to enthusiastic now and I'm not going calling loudly, everything is in good order. Let’s see if the MoodWheel keeps working tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and …

I did my 345th library reset since last month's upgrade and where Deezer "seems" to work for the middle and outer rings, the inner ring behavior is worst at each reset .... today I have the same sequence of songs for any point I'm pressing, interesting :-)
So by the sound of it the Moment is still a product that is so incredibly buggy that B&O should not be selling it. It's been what... 2 years on the market in this condition?
For the same price you could have bought a NAS a 4 iPads and you can bet everything would work a hell of a lot better.

Inner ring is back to normal, even better, no repeat in the circle, no repeat in the songs flow, enough songs per point, songs still added in alphabetical order and I have not determined yet if songs from my Deezer albums were included

I disconnected the cable for loudspeakers for a view minutes. After reconnecting the cable, the rings started to behave as they should. Since then i had no trouble with the Moment.
So, I'm actually pretty happy with my moment. That said, we should expect more from B&O and they should also have this ambition.

As a cautious guy, I always wait for the feedback from other users to perform the upgrade...
So I didn't this time and guess what's happening...
... l have the same issue with the inner ring showing only a few songs from Deezer instead of the content of my NAS.
I made several reset of my library with no result.
So I have to use the iPhone app to access my content.
I suspect Deezer to be a part of the problem.

Sorry I thought you had an update. Still running on the latest version from May11: version SW 1.7.7.1155-1.7.399.223963144.
For your interest: the inner ring is working as supposed, the outer ring gives me Deezer content but not endless (playing for around 10 songs) then I have to push it again and it keeps working endlessly, the middle ring shows no content at all.
I'm cautiously awaiting the next update. Have a great week-end to...

Nope - Deezer fix I guess .... While listening to my own music (inner ring) i realized that one of the song played was not part of my NAS collection, I then decided to press the other rings to see if behavior had changed from nothing played to something played, and it had, without any BS Moment rebuild or reset, only regular power off/on

You have it right. For some two months I received the following message in starting the Deezer for Mac app on my iMac: 'Deezer will change, we are working on a new homepage'.
Yesterday the new update was ready for download.

Yep, I don't know why but I also made the link with the Mac app being changed and the MoodWheel issue.
The issue with the Moment started soon after Deezer app started to display this message and the issue with the Moment stopped soon after the Deezer app was updated. Now I'll wait for BeoCare to notify me it's fixed :-) counting days!

At this time, the inner wheel only shows Deezer content and nothing from my NAS.
NAS content is only available through playlists.

Well YannChris, it actually looks that for whatever reason the MoodWheel is working again as it should.
As mbolo01 also mentioned, all indications are pointing now that the problem was caused thru the API from Deezer, because its strange that the MoodWheel now suddenly seems to be working at the same time Deezer released the update for OSX where 'Flow' is now also part of the homepage. So, I can cautiously say this fault on the Moment is solved.
A little more transparency from BeoNotCare on future problems would be very welcome, I would love to call it again BeoCare! As this thread now was evolving it scared a lot of people away from the Moment.
About your NAS server, I don't know. Its very difficult to answer your question, I'm running a Mac mini server with the latest Twonky server 8.2.1 and its running faultless with my Moment. I even use the sleep function from 11PM to wake-up at 5AM without any problem regarding the Moment. If I'm not wrong, I think member Hiort could give a better answer how the NAS behaves with the Moment actually now.
Anyway, I would upgrade to the latest software. It makes no sense to continue using older software.
But I understand, if it does not function you'll get a nasty feeling, especially if BeoCare remain silent and your dealer is looking at you like a fish on dry water.
This is one of the reasons why I like this forum so much, we are here to help each other when all else fails (or at least to give each other some courage).

The Moment is now flawless in handling my NAS content. I run the Twonky version recommended by B&O: 7.2.7 on my iMac pointing to my Synology NAS iTunes library. My library has some 3000 songs so its not super big.

I confirm it is almost flawless now, I have Twonky 8.2 on my QNAP NAS and 34000 tracks on it, exception being: the "no sound" happening between seconds 12 and 20 while playing tracks from an album leveraging DLNA (not sure I have heard this behavior while playing music through the MoodWheel). Playing albums from Deezer does not have this issue. I have reported that to my reseller weeks ago (as BeoCare does not want to hear from me anymore) and I have no response.

good point.
Patternplay plays a source/playlist/radiostation/mood etc. based on your listening habits. It does not (at least I am not aware of that) play music (randomly) based on your music taste across your library. Flow is like a super randomizer on the full Deezer library taking into account your music taste / your favored tracks in Deezer.
Regardless; I use patter play a lot and it does give me in a lot of cases the correct radio station / music / mood on different times of the day / different day of the week.

True, but sometimes you just want to tell Moment to play "whatever I may like". PatternPlay could play me e.g a radio station, because I usually listen to radio on that time that day.

Question about current behavior. Let's say Patternplay plays music from Deezer; is there is case where it actually plays Deezer's "Flow" or does it always plays a certain mood / playlist / radio station as I assumed in my previous post.The latter is my experience, but I am not 100% sure.
Do you know?
PS: I now play "flow" through my phone with bluetooth
PS2: you can check what patternplay is playing when you open the BeoMusic app an click on the "play" icon in the left down corner (i.e. it displays the music queue), but I am sure you already knew this.
