paolomariano:Only sold at the production plant in Kreuztal (Germany). Not filtered, not pastorized, you can really feel all the natural ingredients it is made of, a real liquid bread, as they say

paolomariano:The Queen of all beers!! and my favorite as well, a real work of art... Excellent choice! Sorry to correct you, the alcohol content is not 12%, it is around 10%. I usually drink it with aged cheese! I curious to know what you drank it with... Almost impossible to find here in Italy, unless you have the right friends
jans:PailomarianoIt is a bit confusing indeed. The name of the beer is Westvleteren 12, but the alcohol content is 10.2%. Regardless of the name and the percentages, the beer was very soft, smooth and somewhat sweet.I drank it as 'aperitif' and then continued with an excellent cote a l'os!In the restaurant they also had Westvleteren Blond and 8 on the card, but they didn't have any in stock. So I will have to go back!
