Hi, my old stuff will be used in my little workshop i have in our cellar. I am a modelfyer as you can see :-)

The Beolab 3500 is connected wireless with the Beosound 9000 upstairs. I have a Beolink ML/NL, so i can here Deezer and TuneIn as well.

The BV 8 was  10 years our main TV set. My wife does't like the Beocom 2 and the Beo6, she is lucky with her Beocom 6000 and the Beo 4 upstairs.

Si i 'must' use  them here :-)

Looking at the desk in your workshop I feel like Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again inspiring the Group Memphis. A member of this group (Ettore Sottsass?) may have created the lamp on your desk.

Yes Peter,

i was equipped with a lot of Memphis stuff in the 80's. The table and the lamp on the left are from Sottsass Asscociaties as well.

On the first picture you can see the Lip-Sofa from the 60's. It was italian design produced from Gufram. In the left corner i have the famous 'cactus'.

(Not to be seen an the picture)

I own an illuminated sottsass mirror too.

My wife hates all these things, so they have to rest in my workshop, she loves B&O. I bought her last week a Beoplay M5, she likes it very much.

That's love.

Ralf

The cosy feel on a dark winters day in Sweden. No glare on Tv from sunlight Stick out tongue.

Any suggestions on how to best fix the wall after removing the Avant wall bracket?

Super nice room!

The only thing you can do to fix the wall neatly is to putty the wall (spackla) and repaint. Easiest maybe to have a contrasting color compared to your other walls, because painting the wall white will not give you the same result as your other walls. A white wall gets darker over time, so a newly painted wall will look brighter.

I think I have to repaint the whole wall so the colours will match or getting something like this ->

My wife, a huge Doctor Who fan, loved this. Elephant, I have you to thank if she asks for a BS1 or 2, to replace her A2 (which she adores).

Hello good people of the Beoworld.

I became a member a couple of days ago after having read (especially this thread) with great interest. As forums are only good when people post, here my (second) one. I got the virus 25 years ago when my father in law bought a full 5500 set (incl MCP, Attyca and passive Pentas) to replace the Beomaster 1900 and S45-2s (that I now have). He still uses the Master and the CD and I linked his Samsung flatscreen because he missed the nice sound of the MX7000 that died. The amp was lately overhauled by Beobuddy!

And so are my Beomaster 6500 and CD7000 that play on Lab8000s. To prepare for a Beolab2 I made two daisychained rings of tasker C207 cable with six double RJ45 sockets (so the Lab2 can be placed anywhere and feed back the filtered signal to the 8000s

Great to see a Beocom 1400 (or 1401) - is it in use or just for show?

I've got a 'collection' of over 30 Beocoms - storing them ready for when landlines make a re-emergence (like vinyl has! Smile)

Johan, nice photos :-)

Alen, it's been a while since we have seen your apartment - now looking great with the BS2.  Are you still enjoying your BS5?  Do you use the CD ripping device as a CD player or is it only for ripping?

Thanks @Aussie Michael.

Position of the Beosound 2 is temporary, only for a photo purpose.

I bought it for a desktop speaker.

Long time ago I ripped my last CD's. I am now only in lossless 16 or 24 bytes files.

Hiding on a humble shelf in a corner in the bedroom, and currently enjoying it's retirement by acting mainly as an alarm clock and occasionally as the center of a private music moment Cool Beosound 3000 with Dali speakers through ml/mcl converter.
