Haha!

In that antique environment, I had mistaken that A6 for a Regency fire-guard.

(not a phrase one has cause to say with great frequency)

I am still amazed at how the A6 filled half the store with sweet sound.

I was convinced it had to be an array of curling speakers but of better quality than Bose ... instead a single B&O ... wow ... what an advertisement ... but probably lost on their clientele.

Using B&O stuff for almost 3 decades, and being on the forum for a long time, it is my first post in this thread. :-)

30 years, yes, using the Beomaster 901, Beogram CDX and Beovision LX2500 of my parents. Then i moved to my own flat when I began the active life and began my own collection with almost everything available in the catalog during the Jensen and Lewis periods...

Here is a shot of my Beovisions MX8000 10-46,  Beolab 2, Beocenter 2 and my beloved Beolab 1 just before selling the whole B&O things in 2011 to go to live on a boat and achieve a child dream.

A boat is definitively another way of living, and the Beolab1 were impossible to take with me, even if the yacht was quite large and comfortable, so with a lot of regrets (still here today) I had to sell them to achieve my dream to move from Paris to the Mediterranean Sea.

Last year, with the family growing, my wife an I decided to dismount from the yacht, sold it and bought a house. What an opportunity with such an amount of space to fit... A new life (again) with almost everything to build again, an empty space with no furniture, no TV, no HIFI excepted the few B&O surviror's items :-)

I spent almost 1 year to find the new B&O stuff, and here where we are today:

Main room:

Beolab 5 Final Edition, Beovision 7-55 / Beolab 7.6

Bedroom with a Beovision 11-55 with Oak fret from the 14, Beolab 6002 and Beolab 2

I will probably replace the 6002 with 8002, or preferably (if I can convince my wife...) a pair of Beolab 1 (!!!), and the Beolab 2 with a Beolab 19

And last but not least, my home office with a Beovision 6-26 HDMI (I will replace the fret with a silver one soon), the Beomaster 4500 is not used anymore at the moment, probably I will sell it with the BL6002 and BL2.

Thanks :-) Yes you're right, the Togo is back too :-) And it fits perfectly watching from it at a BV7 mounted on table stand positioned on the floor

Super tastefull home!

love your sofas, but prefer the blue version. Its not so often i see them in someones home.

Did you get the inspiration from the B&o room setup for the A6? 😉😉

👍🏻👍🏻 For your taste!

Erik, I would absolutely go with aluminium, it fits the entire feel better, but in black in available. Or really cool as well would be brass or gold

This is one of my two favorite places for music/radio listening in that room.

Made a Speaker Group with what otherweise is the left/front, left/surround and the sub (2.1) - of course with settings optimized for the listening place.

Millemissen has used B & O offers and receives 10,000 Danish Kroner for BV Avant 2014.

Have you seen that offer ?

I guess they more thought of replacing older, outdated tv’s like your BV7-40 with that offer ;-)

And by the way, this is a ‘Flash your B&O thread’ - meaning your own B&O!!!

Congratulation, looks great

how the Eclipse ist mounted, with a motorized or simply wall mount?

I've opted for the manual wall mount.
Two technicians needed almost 4 hours, was not quite easy, because hollow brick masonry.

Looking great!! I love mine as well, absolutely fantastic tv.

How do you like the S8 for rears? I’m thinking about a set for mine as well. I don’t need the sub though, as i have a BL19. Could one possibly use just the speakers without the sub, perhaps with a beocore or something?

Thank you, guys. It is the manual wall bracket. The blue speaker fret is on loan until the oak fret is released. Though I am beginning to really like the look of the blue one Laughing

The BeoPlay S8 speakers for rears are excellent. The S8 is in my opinion a overlooked product. Great value! I do not think they can be connected to anything other than the S8 sub as they are passive and rely on on the amplifier in the sub. They also have a special connection plug.

BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)

The day finally came - my local B&O shop delivered and setup my BV 10-40 yesterday evening Lets have a Party !!! This thing is amazing! Never in a million years did I think I would have a BV10 but I'm glad I started looking more seriously at them - they are incredible machines. Before this I was totally focused on the BV9. Right now I have an ATV4(?) and a PS4 connected and all running with PUC integration thanks to my dealer.

It feels amazing to not only have a TV in my apartment but also a piece of B&O. Since I moved to Germany, all i brought with me was a BeoLit 15 (so far at least!).

I have been watching DVD's and Blu-rays (as well as gaming) with the PS4 and streaming with the ATV as well as listening to music on it now with the apple music app. Will be adding Deezer soon as well.

Cool

Beo4 'til I die!

But with the sub it works wireless from the Eclipse? Because still with the sub, it’s probably the cheapest way to get rear B&O speakers and hey, one more sub can’t be a bad thing. In my dedicated home theater i had two Earthquake Supernova 15”. That’s four 15” units in a 10m2 room, so i do miss a little bass sometimes, even tho’ my BL19 is fantastic Stick out tongue
