Kiran,

I have a difficult question...

On which wall will the BS Shape be installed?

I don't think I will ever have a BS Shape setup in the little summer house.

I did not factor this on any wall going by the fully clean wire free setup.

If you can tell by all pics so far, network LAN, WLAN, Powerlink and Masterlink will all be hidden. There will be no wires showing anywhere at all. A fully OCD setup lol.

I do have plans for a feature wall in the main house.

Maybe 12-24 hexagons. I still think its too pricey at Β£4k for 6 hexagons... I need to listen to this "band on the wall" before I judge...

I can understand this!

This afternoon, I spent some time in a B&O shop in Paris.

Keeping in mind that my reference is the BL5s, I tried the same song (Christine and the Queen - Saint Claude) on BS2, BL17, BL18, BL17+19, BL20 and BL18+19.

Except by the BL18+19 combo, I was rather disappointed (for this specific song) Confused

Mate, you've got expensive taste πŸ˜‚

Your BL5 are ultimate killer whales πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ🏻

Have you tried a pair of BL1 + BL2? Old setup but probably the best in my house so far...

Hi  Kiran

You progressing nicely.
It amazes me only in your building  I have not noticed any heat and hydro insulation.

Neither under the exterior panels, inside floors.. nor under the plasterboards inside any kind of insulation.
I apologize. I am in a construction field and observe a little bit the construction to :).

I have my AV room and no plasterboards inside due to avoid any unwanted vibrations.

I apologize for my comments, I  mean no harm.

Otherwise, your craftsmen probably already know what they are doing.

Congratulations for your project ... we are waiting for a barbecue party and a celebration of the completion of construction.

There is quite a lot of insulation. It's all in the cavity of exterior walls, ceiling, floor and the internal walls. I didn't take many pictures when this was happening.

I think the floor insulation is still to happen along with underfloor heating and then wooden floor finish.

Below is a pic of the stuff that was used in the ceiling...

There is no boiler so it's all electric underfloor heating and a massive water tank in the loft for hot water.

Soft insulation has been used for the walls inside.

I will try and get some more pics πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Marexy, just for you...

I can see the soft insulation in the cavity of the walls hanging down from the toilet window. Then the hard spongey stuff between loft n ceiling.

Floor insulation will happen with the underfloor heating... or has it been done already in the foundation ?

But I'm glad someones keeping a check on it πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

It is foundation hydro insulation

outside :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4tvRJ7HitE

inside :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S9WZa-9yPQ

not English movie :(

For preventing the penetration of moisture into the walls.
Given the large input into project should be correspondingly high quality made.
Sorry ...I do not know much you dedicating attention to this in the UK.
Sorry ...like i say ..my proffesional deformation to see that details...hihi

Naar I don't think we've done this. I wasn't around much when the foundation was being done but I do remember some sort of black wrapper for the foundation...

I will keep pictures of what happens on the inside πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Yes all bulbs are LED dimmable integrated fully compatible with Lutron.

I will not be using any GU10 light fittings. All LED bulbs will be integrated in the light fittings πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Hi Everyone

I have been away on 3 holidays for the last 2 months and the garden summer house has still not finished.

The whole Lutron kit for the summer house has arrived and sitting pretty in my room.

In fact, work has started on the main house.

Full update tomorrow and more pics. So much to read and catch up on Beoworld! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Summer house progress... I see a bow. Not a good job. Overhang has to be redone.

It's a laundry room at the moment lol...

Little mistake... 1 switch will be removed and the other wired fr both plugs...

Bedroom will be ultimate...

And this has already started...

No, the pillars were removed along the long stretch... That's fine, we put 2 steel beems from pillar to pillar...

It's the side facing the house... you can see it held up by joists and wooden plank...

UPDATE

Everything is moving way too slow now. I will take a whole load of pictures and upload later.

I now use a Samsung Note 8 and realised there is no BeoWorld app on the play store. And while using a browser to go on the website, I cannot upload pics from from my phone!
