Hello

I'm thinking of changing the beosystem 3 to a beosystem 4 and use with my bovision4-65 mk3. Would this be possible... what with the cam and the ir port ?

Hello,

works perfect, I recently switched from BeoSystem3 to BeoSystem4 on my BeoVision4-50 MK III.

You would need two new cables for the TV, because everything is RJ45 now. If you have the skills, making those cables is no problem, otherwise ask your local dealer.

And keep in mind, as everything is RJ45, you need some adapters for your speakers as well - asuming they are connected via PowerLink.

One last thing: the TV has to be measured by a specific USB device, otherwise there is a short warning everytime you turn the TV on. This does not harm the functionality, simply is anoiing.

Go for it, it is a completly new experience.

Best regards

PS: You will gain a NetLink device and loose link room TV...

the HDMI to dvi is a simpel connector

and do you have any idea ik and how to connect and wire the Beostand connector to a Beovision 7-55 floorstand?

i am planning om putting my Beovision 4-50 on a beovision7-55 floorstand and so it would be fantastic to be able to rotate the stand.

I have a similar task.

But I do not understand one detail...

... RJ45 to DSUB9 male.

DSUB Pin 5 is GND - but does not go to any PIN in the RJ45?

Even though RJ45 has Blue GND but on Pin 4....?

Thanks in advance!

Ralf
