I know…B&O virus has grown on me !
I get the message "Action not supported by the selected product" whenever I try to play Deezer, TuneIn, or DLNA on my BLC.

The last update introduced a problem when moving between access points. The X app seems to get confused, at first it seems to forget that I'm playing music in multiple rooms, then it turns the volume down. The lead ends up with a volume at about 1/3 of original and everything else is muted.
Same problems for me as well. Volume behaviour is erratic mainly because I use my moment in an integrated way with a beoplay v1 so the app gets a bit confused about which product's (the moment or the v1) volume to turn up or down. Moreover I have the same issues with the multiroom as mentioned above. My way around is to use the beomusic app. In the X app you have to turn the source local on and then try to add the blc. Then you have to turn off the source from which you play to your blc. If you then want to play an other song then the source (the moment in my case) will turn on again etc etc.
According to my opinion the beomusic app was much better and easier as a multiroom controller than the x app. In general it gave you a feeling that it is simple and straight forward. The x app seems quite complicated and as a result has not reached the right B&Oish level.

I agree with you. The X app is hard to use. The theme looks great but functionality wise its difficult to operate. Hope they can make manual for this and improve the application. I suggest put back the beomusic in the appstore since its the most convinient app for playing the B&O products.

I believe that the way you could operate the multiroom in the beomusic app was great. Just turn your iPhone tap on the plus sign....done! Two simple moves.
On the other hand I believe that the X app has much more potential as I have a feeling that eventually it will be one app to rule them all! Meaning that it will "absorb" all the other apps (beoremote, beomusic) except maybe the beolink2.
I'll say it so:
Once in a while I try to use the new/the X app ;-(
But - as of now - I keep turning back to the Beomusic app ;-)

BeoNut since '75
elephant:By contrast, and to encourage the development team, I use the X app all the time: even my usage of Apple Music Airplay has dropped off BeoNut since '75
It so often happens that a development team gets so committed to their project that their pride and arrogance takes over. This is the case here. The new app has taken MONTHS and they still can't get things right. All sources are not present. There is not even a proper iPad version! They announce with great flourish BeoLink Converter support -- which is a total JOKE and does not really work! The arrogance here is that they removed a functioning app -- the BeoMusic App from the iTunes store. Seriously. It feels like we're dealing with amateurs here. What is so important here is that the new B&O devices rely so very heavily on software -- yet, B&O can't seem to source the talent that they need for competent software development teams.

Still asking myself: is this not possible in your setup or is your setup not correct?
Carolpa:Disagree. I have 3 BLC, in my setup the X-app works; simple as that! Still asking myself: is this not possible in your setup or is your setup not correct?
elephant: Carolpa: Disagree. I have 3 BLC, in my setup the X-app works; simple as that! Still asking myself: is this not possible in your setup or is your setup not correct? In my case we wonder if I should have gotten two BLCs. One to be the Audio master, one to be the Video master. I beginning to think having all my MLC go through one BLC makes the configuration and usage difficult. What do you think ?

In my set up this is what I do. I have a beovision 6-26 in the bedroom and a beomaster 6500 in the main living room. The blc is connected to the beomaster 6500 (via a t1611) and to the bedroom (beovision 6-26) via a master link to rj45 and it works fine (except after power cuts which during summer time we have quite a few). In the playroom I have a beoplay v1 and a moment. In the living room (where the blc is) I have sources available from all the device (both audio and video (sound only)). In the playroom I also have all sources available (sound only). In the bedroom given the fact that I have no blc I can access all the sources from the beomaster 6500. I am quite happy with my setup as my goal was to share throughout the house access to beomaster's sources.
I am a strong believe of simplicity in engineering (an engineer should be happy when he has nothing else to take away ) and I believe I have created a quite simple setup. Moreover the X app works ok with the blc....but just ok not as I would expect. What I mean is that at least for now you cannot access deezer music. In order to do so you have to play deezer to another device (moment in my case) and join it from the blc. This is frustrating as you have to constantly switch sources in order to control the volume and the content for example. Furthermore you have to interrupt what the person in the other room is doing in order to mute the moment or let him/her continue watching tv for example. And the chary on the cake is that you have to do it every single time you pick another song. Not at all B&Oish!
I am confident that all these problems will be solved and I am happy to be a small part of the solution but till then Beomusic app is my choice.

zerocool143:Is there a way to download the beomusic in ipad? Im really struggling explaining to one client. Seriously, i need to visit once or twice a week that client just because he cannot properly play his music from itunes through BS Moment.
akoitidis: I believe that if you have downloaded it before you can restore your ipad to a previous date and it might come up. Not sure, try at your own risk

No need for 'restoring'.
Just get it - if you already had it installed, it is still there on the app store/using the same account.
