Carolpa:For testing sake you should disconnect the bs3000 or BS5. Set the BLC Ml role to Sound Center. Program the BLC. Note: if you choose the BS3000 to disconnect, set the sources of the bs5 to Cd and A.Mem, to have the sources N.Music, N.Radio free

I have tried disconnecting the BS 3000, the BS5, and both. But, did not think to try changing the BLC ML role. Will try that tomorrow.

But the other option will not work for sure with both the BS5 and BS3000 connected!
I may as well jump in with my NL/ML question/s too.
I have a BV 10 and BS 3000 masterlinked together in the lounge. The speakers in that room are connected to the BV 10 and all works as it should when playing the sound from the TV or BS 3000. The rest of the house is NL (audio only) and I want to to be able to get the sound (Spotify and TuneIn) from a spare Core I have to be able to go thought the speakers in the lounge. The speakers have to be connected to the BV 10 as they are part of the surround sound.
It's not the end of the world if I can't get the sound from the BS 3000 to the rest of the house but I'll take it if it can be done. Is it a matter of matter of connecting the Core to the Aux in of the NL/ML or do I make it Primary and operate it this way?
Ideally I'd like to operate say AMem for Spotify and Radio for TuneIn on the Beo4 when in the lounge.
Hope this makes sense and apologies for hijacking the thread.

If you just want the sound from NL to master link there are simpler ways........ speak to Steve
Razlaw: PC turns on Tune In on BV7, nothing on BV10, and turns speakers on with Active but no sound.

The Active has it's own PC input which accounts for why there's no sound out of it. Have you tried setting the NL/ML role to Source Center and mapping Tune In to N.Radio? You also have to turn all ML devices off for a few minutes then turn them back on after any masterlink change.
If you look at the BeoLink handbook, your situation is most like NL scenario 3 (page 23). Do you option settings match the recommended settings?

The main tv's = NL. The ML tv = set to slave. Only BS5 is connected as Audiomaster. In your setup it is not set as master, the BS3000 is.
There is no ML source issue!
Razlaw:I tried the source center as you suggested. No success.
ML role = Sound Center
N.Radio = TuneIn
N.Music = Music (note this is not Deezer it is your local music server)
If BS5 = attached then reprogram the sources to CD/A.Mem.
Maybe restart everything
Carolpa:But did you also unplugged the BS5 or the BS3000 from ML? ML role = Sound Center N.Radio = TuneIn N.Music = Music (note this is not Deezer it is your local music server) If BS5 = attached then reprogram the sources to CD/A.Mem. Maybe restart everything

Razlaw:I have V1 set as Master, option 2…..and it works perfectly with the converter. 10 and 7 set to option 6. Is that correct for them?
You realize that setting the ML tv's in option 6 means they are only local. That said, all the local sources will only be available locally
Razlaw:Yes I did. They were disconnected from power.
see pictures
Razlaw:What options should the 10 and 7 be set to?
Razlaw:The 7 was working perfectly set to option 6. All sources worked both directions.
try this
Razlaw:Trying to turn either source on, (DVD and PC) commands with the Active Kit turns the speakers on, but no sound. PC for Tune In on the 10 causes nothing to happen. DVD for Deezer on the 10 causes nothing to happen.
PC for Tune In on the 10 causes nothing to happen.
DVD for Deezer on the 10 causes nothing to happen.
edit: maybe better said hear what happens

Don’t give up!
You wrote above: ‘The BV10 and the Active Kit do not work’.
Does that mean, that you can not listen to anything coming from the 3000 there either?
In case of ‘no’, there must be some failure on the ML bus going to these two devices.
Do you have/have access to junction boxes, that you could check?
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV

Carolpa:just a trick: start a ML Audio source on your BV7 and Master link the BV10 and the BLA. Then switch on the BV7 to a NL source. See what happens. edit: maybe better said hear what happens
