Hi Søren,
Looking “forward” to your report as soon as you have the time. Perhaps “looking forward” is not exactly right as you spoke of “troubles.”
Not intended for comparison but back from Hawaii now three days and our luggage is STILL in Honolulu. Truly a fantastic “birthday celebration” that actually came with real fireworks. It just doesn’t get better than that.
Hoping that your troubles are now a thing of the past.
Jeff

First day relaxing, after returning from vacations, in my favorite chair, sweet music sounding from BM 5000.BG 4002, Bvox M70. I found a 2nd hand shop in DK and could buy a couple of LPs for 2 USD each, lack of space in my suitcases prevented me buying more. My son found a Louis Armstrong LP for me, and Henrik gifted me a nearly mint Beach Boys LP. A couple of well mixed Cubas is joining me and the music. Here one of the "new" ones. Jeff (Piaf) will be jealous.
I went on listening to my new finds (after cleaning) Anne Linnet, Danish artist, turn up the volume to more than normal level, and then listen to "Lille Mesias" what a wonderful voice. I am getting ready for Edith Piaf.
My FS bought her first LP, to my surprise and delight, of all places in Oslo, Norway. Diana and Marvin, the best was the bag it came with.
Whoa Søren,
That’s one I don’t have. I am jealous.
Sorry Jacques, but I love Mireille Mathieu.

Edith Piaf!
Now you are talking!
If you have a BeoSound 8, that you want to sell,
this might be the right album to demo it with (dependent on your and the buyers preference, of course).
Jennifer Warnes - The Well - Streaming from NAS (using the 8player app).
An excellent recorded, engineered, mastered album, that really shows what the BS8 is capable of.
But beware! After listening, you might want to keep the BS8 for yourself
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
I am so glad i mentioned this to you this morning..
Of course, the SACD is much preferred, but rather expensive these days! On a BS8 it properly doesn't make a difference anyway...
Actually,- Jennifer Warnes has made some outstanding albums, my favourite would, of course, be Famous Blue Raincoat!
Did you know the track "First we take Manhattan" was written from a terrorist point of view?
You 'reminded' me, that I had not heard any Jennifer album for a long time now.
I am an oldtime Jennifer Warnes fan!
No, the SACD won't make any difference (anyway) - I'd rather save my money for a rainy day.

Funny, I never pictured you that way, especially in glasses. At least you had an amazing "seat" for the concert.
chartz:I'm sure I was the only one in the audience - 20,000 souls - noticing the B&O SP cartridge playing The Dark Side Of The Moon LP... Am I such a desperate case?
Hi Jacques,
Desperate nothing, you merely have keen observation skills. I salute you!
Rich:I'm 50. I was in the youngest 10% attending!
Hey Rich,
50? I remember being 50, I think Eisenhower was President.
Happy belated birthday! I had a birthday last month too, but I assure you it wasn’t the 50th. (At least I celebrated in Hawaii…..) Aloha.
