Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Without a doubt.
My parent were Herb Alpert fans. They bought that when it came out back in 65 or so. i remember listening to it as a kid

Haven't listened to this LP yet. Was part of a batch my father sent to me as he cleans out the home he just sold. I assume the original owner of this (and most of the other records in the batch) was my stepmother or her first husband.
Wish you were here-live by Roger Walters
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Added to my CD collection today!
The haul included a Chemical Brothers single, The Police Ghost in The Machine and The Talking Heads Speaking in Tongues.
Right now the Talking Heads are playing
Beo4 'til I die!
Two albums I own on both LP and CD.
The entire Police catalog is worth owning, IMHO. The DVD of Talking Heads Stop Making Sense is worth owning, as are the LPs Remain in Light, Little Creatures, More Songs About Buildings and Food and Fear of Music.
Speaking in Tongues was a favorite of mine when I was in college (and it was relatively new). Most Talking Heads fans of that era thought that record was their "jump the shark" moment. Of course, the phrase "jump the shark" wasn't in our lexicon as yet.
Went backwards in time again and sat down and seriously listened to Steely Dan's Aja album. I am consistently amazed every time I make the time to do a serious listen to this album, what an amazing set of songs, stunningly recorded, that all seem to convey a consistent late nite kind of vibe conducive to thinking and re-evaluating your life.
Then I went and pulled Donald Fagen's The Nightfly, which is a fascinating collection of songs which capture the naive optimism of the late 50's/early 60's. The song "Goodbye Look" really captures the feel of a revolutionary banana republic:
Last night I dreamed of an old lover dressed in gray,
I've had this fever now since yesterday.
Wake up darling, they're knocking, the Colonels standing in the sun,
With his stupid face, the glasses, and the gun
I know a fellow with a motor launch for hire,
A skinny man with two tone shoes,
Cause tonight, they're arranging a small reception just for me,
Behind the big casino by the sea...

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
While out buying books for next semester (which starts tomorrow), I found the new Incubus HQ Live album. All live recordings which are recorded quite well. The release also includes a DVD copy of the show as well.
Lately I've noticed that my ears really like synthesizer/keyboard sounds. Anyone else agree? I can't identify why, but the keyboard tones of the song Promises, promises are phenomenal.

At last - I was beginning to think you weren't the right stuff after all!
Ban boring signatures!
Actually, I own Ghost in The Machine and Synchronicity on both LP and CD as well! I've been a long time fan of The Police.
I will keep my eyes out for more Talking heads at my local FLURS

I think I have "Eugene's Syndrome." Realizing I had all of the Police's studio albums on both LP and CD, I've started buying them on cassette as well - just to complete the set!

Even Led Zeppelin and The Who used keyboards. See "Trampled Underfoot," "No Quarter," "Fool in the Rain," etc. or "Baba O'Reilly," "Won't Get Fooled Again," etc.

Amazing range of modern jazz.

Alright you young hipster indie-alternative fans of BeoWorld, here is your next favorite album ever.
The band is alt-J. Album is An Awesome Wave.
Right now I'm listening to this on my very overbuilt Darkside Tour de Force system.
