Where ar it all shrank since I was last there.
B&O's contribution to reducing CO2 emissions in Denmark, I would say B&O has exaggerated, knowing what could once be produced when it was factory.
Would you like to follow my visit to Bang & Olufsen in Struer. See page 56.
My dream for 2020
Question: don't you believe that C10 will be 8 k?
Hi JFJBrussels
I think it can happen. Now must we see.
Thanks Peter Pan.Now Qled goes 8k, probably LG will follow.Apparently, the answer will come before May.
Let's be realistic... What are you going to view on 8K? How large will the 8K media library be?
Movies are not going to fit in 12cm disk format and I guess that you will need around a minimum of 50Mbit dedicated internet connection.
Anyway... 8K is a way of the TV manufactures to replace your 4K screen where 90% of the content is HD or less... (720P even!)
Hi kuyttendaele
Then it's just a setup for you. No 8K here.
Double image - Deleted.
Peter Pan: Hi kuyttendaele Then it's just a setup for you. No 8K here.
I thought this was a B&O group...The setup in the picture is plain ugly. Not something I want to have in my livingroom.

kuyttendaele:Let's be realistic... What are you going to view on 8K? How large will the 8K media library be?
Actually the library size is not that big of a concern. So far the increase in HDD size and transfer rate has kept up fine with the content demand. I have properly not transferred a full move faster than now, although a full UHD is now approaching 100GB. I simply rotate the older, smaller drives out, and at the same time they serve as backup.
Apart from that i completely agree, although an 8K computer monitor sure would come in handy!

8K is around 33Mpix.. So that's the full resolution of my Canon 5D Mark IV. So.. yes as a computer monior... :-)

Peter Pan: Canvas is a powerful HiFi audiostand with 'real 3D audio' for LG OLED TVs
No it is not - it is a crowfunding project....something that someone is collecting money enough for in order to develop and turn it into a real product at some point.
Whether they will succeed, the time will tell.
Seems that they built on the current 3 D Audio hype and a design adaptet from the former B&O tv models.
Look kind of cool - although a 2.0 speaker system might not be the right thing for an audio system used primarily for video sound.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

SODiscussion in 'LG OLED C9 TVs Forum' - Tips - Have you turned off energy saving ? - Click here.Aug 16, 2019. page-30 - An update on my C9: After reading some positive feedback, I decided to update its firmware to 03.60.19. That fixed the overscan issue for all devices and inputs (selecting "Perform scaling on: GPU" also helped alleviate the issue even further on PC). So, there was definitely something wonky going on with 03.50.27, as enabling or disabling "screen shift" didn't make a difference.

Sadly Peter has succumbed, and will not continue the thread. Thanks guys, appreciated! He asked me to translate. Ill try my best to convey the message: You guys are properly upset since the B&O ecosystem is jeopardized after the LG OLED was chosen to carry the legacy of the Beovison name. Its only natural to feel that way since you invested heavily in the current B&O ecosystem. LG has an ecosystem of their own, and there is no way it will be adapted to B&O. They are on their own, for as long as it lasts! The inevitable change will come in the form of an LG TV. I live happily with the Masterlink system, but from the dawn of Beosystem 4 this direct interface was lost. Times are changing and sometimes we lose part of the past, but new options and possibilities will emerge. Only the diligent companies will survive, the rest will simply disappear. But one thing is for sure: TV and sound equipment will always be available for sale in some shape or form.
