Susanne Sundfør - Music for People in Trouble

On my BG6006 and BM1900, both from Dillen 😊

I think it’s great!

Some Norwegian friends made me a present of the LP a few years ago, but all my turntables were in storage.

Then a few weeks ago Martin put up that BG6006 for sale, and in lockdown madness I couldn’t resist.

So I was able to listen to the album for the first time! 😄

It’s really good.

My favorite track is "Sound Of War" mostly because of the instrumental outro, Very Max Richter-esque!

I discovered her through the end credits song from Oblivion Movie but what definitely draw my attention to her was the remix of Ice Machine (from Depeche Mode) in the Royksoop Late Night Tales album. Her voice fit so well!

Listening to the whole thing as you put it would be quite a challenge, especially for me as I lack the attention span needed to listen to a 'normal' album. Path 17 matches my yoga workout in duration, though and I think the mood of this particular piece and workout are a good fit as well.
