When I connect my macbook to a BV 7 usind dvI cable and a two RCA jacks to external red and white connections (TV upper rear back side), I can't get sound.

How should I connect properlly to get the sound?, oher connections, some modifications in the config?

Advice will be very welcome.

Thanks

Is the PC running Windows?

And when you defined the source on the BV7 how did you set it up?

Thanks.

We are using a Macbook, so runs on apple soft.

What do you mean about the set up? using the menu option.

I don't have a BV7 although I have manuals for the various models

It seems like you may have plugged the audio into the [CAMERA] position which expects video ?

What year is your MacBook from ? Are you using a MiniDisplayPort adapter ?

You will have to use the RCA input  in the same AV-block as the DVI is in.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
