@rivenflush:

very nice layout on the Beo5! How did you get the pictures so well on the Beo5 display? Which picturesize did you use and is there one big picture or a few small ones to get this layout?

Hi riven flush. I like what you have done with your beo5. I for one was not aware that you could use pictures for zones. Are they pictures you have taken or are they hidden in the config software somewhere? Thanks in advance

joonasl, your space is simply gorgeous.

I am a huge fan of white Beo and those BeoLab 3's and 11 have a spell on me right now. Down right stunning.

However, I can't help but think they are mounted way too far up the wall.. Do you have any comments on the sound?

I think they normally would perish because of age, my unit had been stored in a warm, smokefree livingroom since it was new in 1973.

I have sold off some of my stuff to get the room, but it's still a bit crammed. I bought it mostly for the tapes that I am going to spool over on 10,5" reels for my Revox B77, but have found out that they contain well-made recordings of a 2003 radio program with rare music from the period 1960-1990.
The Beocord 1200 is at the same size as the Beogram 1200-series and use the same lid - I now have two of those that I may want to sell off some time Smile

Moved my BL11 on to a wallmount yesterday.

Think it looks cooler on the wall and its easier to clean the floor :)

Looks like an alien pod landing...

Sound is unchanged.

Wallbracket is rather expensive (1000 SEK here in Sweden) but the build quality and finish of those pieces of metal are outstanding.

Hehe,

no pictures until final installation but I have to shout it out, I am already in love with the red BeoLab 4s which arrived yesterday night.

Dinning area with additional good taste ;-)

@ Elephant, you are right, both, the picture as well as the installation itself looks great.

Hey all!
On my last post i changed from motorized stand to easel, and now!
Tadaa! I changed to Wall hinge Big Smile

Also my beolab 9's are replaced with a pair of beolab 12-3's, which i think makes a cleaner look!
I put the cables in the wall and painted the room white..

Last but but least i got a beosound 5!

Let me know what you think :)

Sorry about the iphone photo, i'll replace it with better pictures later Smile

Nice setup Selliah1992!

How would you say the difference is between the BL9s and the BL12-3s soundwise? Bass?

Looks very nice. May I ask you how wide the complete setup is?  Which BV is it 40 or 46?

Thanks for the comments!

Jeff: The cabinet is from IKEA it's an Bestå bench on 180cm with a glass top, there is 5 drawers and 1 closed shelf Smile

Rob08: The sound is as expected, just as detailed as beolab 9, but with alot less bass, the bass level is about the same as the TV, a bit more.. It's like BL3 Smile

Heibert: I measured the setup so it would be the same length as the bench underneath.

The TV is a beovision 11-46" so its' 109,7cm and the BL12-3 are 22cm, between them there is a gap 13,1cm Smile

Thanks! It looks great there. I am planning a major Ikea run soon, I have to make a pilgrimage to Atlanta GA, about an hour or so away, to the big city to find a store, the only one in the state of Georgia, for a number of things. I will definitely check it out.

Alen@ No, I did not do any measurements, relying only on my ear to be my reference Smile  for now I'm very satisfied, this absorbers made HUGE difference. Specially in mid range, more realistic stereo picture and overall  wormer  sound. Amassing !

Thanks Henrik ! My wife is also satisfied :)
