matteventu:

Any news on the availability? It's still not present on the B&O UK website unless if accessed by direct link (and then it's of course not available).

I haven’t heard anything since my above comments:

«Update: I have checked a third-party website that also sells the Emerge here in Norway, and according to them they would have delivery of the speaker in the first half of May.» - this seems to match what I was told by my dealer.

Hi matteventu,

I was in B&O Nottingham last week and they have the Emerge in stock on the shelf.  You can contact them directly via their contact details on the B&O website.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.

I have been listening to my new pair of Emerges today. After spending some time listening to them at higher volumes, here are my thoughts. I am genuinely surprised at how good the stereo imaging is. Also, the volume is more than adequate for my needs. My office where I have them is approximately 250 square feet. At anything more than about 60%-70% volume they are much too loud to listen to comfortably. The sound quality is still great at those levels. For the price and size, I am as impressed with them as I am my 28s. But, I am weird as I much prefer my 28s to my former 50s. When I had the 50s I had no desire to replace my 1s, 6000s, 12-3s, 4000s, and 9s. The 28s have made me want to replace them with newer speakers and the Emerges have only strengthened that desire.

My 4000s definitely have a fuller sound than the Emerges, and I am not saying the Emerges equal 4000s. But to my ears, there is something about the Mozart products that I really like.
