Hi, does anybody have infos about the future Beosound Emerge?
https://fccid.io/RR-BOA-Emerge
The rumor I hear is that it will be something in the same segment as M5.
Livingroom: BL3, BL11, BV11-46 Kitchen: Beosound 1 GVA, Beocom 2 Bathroom: M3 Homeoffice: M3, Beocom 2 Library: Beosound Emerge, Beocom 6000 Bedroom: M5, Essence remote Travel: Beoplay E8 2.0, Beoplay EQ, Beoplay Earset
I was hoping some magical movement with such a name... So it will be below the Level in the range.

trackbeo:Absolutely, an "Emerge" ought to be a soundbar with rising acoustic lenses, á la Audi A8(D3) dashboard!
Some webstores already mention the Emerge: it will be available in Gold Tone/Light Oak (750 €) and Black Anthracite (600 €). Versions with and without the Google Assistants. All versions have wildly different stock dates, but the earliest mentioned is April 5 (!).

Do they also mention any specs?
I heard a launch around April 14

Not seen any spec, but I think we can expect something along the lines of Beosund Level.
Emerge has a different formfactor from Level and not as many placement option as Level, however I think it will have a wallbracket option.
Gold Tone/Light Oak looks stunning.
Still not appeared... Any launch date infos?
My dealer should have received a shipment two weeks ago, but its been delayed and they still wait...
New speaker Launch 15 april. (that is Thursday this week), so stay tune =)
maybe is the one..
Hiort: My dealer should have received a shipment two weeks ago, but its been delayed and they still wait...
Remember there was a big delay on items shipping from China due to the Suez block, or have people forgotten about this, already?
Any good then? :)
I suppose they are hanging on with the announcement because they might want to have a relatively okay number of units in stock so they do not sell out in two hours and not be available for 2 months after the launch.
Actually found some pictures below. There is a seemingly gold tone and black/anthracite version, with the gold sporting oak side panels and a grey Kvadrat(?) knitted front, and the black with an A1/Beolit-style aluminium front grill. A very thin standing speaker, with a bass port in the back.

Very nice design.
Does not seem too hard to find ;-0
Fits quite well with the design of the Balance/Level.
Looking forward to how that may sound....but we were pretty surpriced with whal the Level offers....so!
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
I bet very soon someone wil ask: can I use two of these as a stereo pair ;-))))))
And when it will get BeoLink ;)

I admit, they would look amazing as a stereo pair! At least from what I can judge looking at these few pics.
Well, it looks nice but do we really need yet another B&O streaming speaker?
Is this what the company has been reduced to, now?
As this seems to be the segment where most of the sales come from (with double digit growth) I guess we’ll see some more of this kind of speaker. And rightly so. In any given house there is space for maybe one or two “staged” setups with surround or stereo speakers. These connected speakers can be scattered around the house. I have six of them and am looking to add some more. As soon as the new platform adds BeoLink I think I’ll get myself a Level or an Emerge.

I think they will remove some also, the M3 and M5 are quite old now.
They do need some fresh product to keep the sales going.
There is rumours about two new Beolabs this year, so lets see.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
OlivierC: If the assumption is correct, this product might be some sort of Beoplay M5 replacement.

That is what I hear. Comments says its equal or better than M5.
OlivierC: Edit: IMHO from the pictures it reminds me of some sort of router.

Yes, it has the shape of the New York Flatiron building :) . I seen a movie and it looks really cool and seem to be aimed to be placed in a bookshelf.
Sadly they were some of the best-selling products in 2020 (Stage, BeoSound 1, 2 etc), so you're clearly going to make decisions in 2021 off the back of this.
I own the Level, it's no way near as good as my BeoSound 2.

Hum, hum… Looks like… Yes…(See THE other thread )

I have the level also. It looks great and sounds quite good. But then I set it up right by the BeoLab 6000s I bought used a few years ago, and it sounded so weak.
The Level is a great portable speaker, but it's still a portable speaker.

No video from John or anyone else....yet.
But on the website (and YT).
My dealer wrote, that he has it in the shop.
I think it's lovely. Very very small footprint, curious how it sounds. Recommended room size is considerably lower than for the other speakers in the range. Very much marketed as a bedroom/study/kitchen/bathroom speaker.
I think I'll get one as soon as there is BeoLink/BLGW support.
Very nice design!! Very fond of the wood version!
Karel.
Same here. I want that Beolink. And if not Smoked Oak, then at least not gold. But I do love the Oak.
Seems to be designed by the same folks as the Balance.
Weird, the Emerge was on the webpage, now removed. Must be a glitch. Or they realized that John o’Manchester had not uploaded his review yet.
I’d definitely wait for Beolink support - and by that time there probably are more choises of wood etc.

It does look good, but I'm curious too. The Level isn't the 'level' people have suggested on here. It's not close to my BeoSound 2 in terms of performance or clarity of sound. It's decent, but I'd recommend a BeoSound 2 any day, unless you need the portability.
As I guess, I'd say this Emerge must be around M3+ level of performance?
It is in the B&O website - just checked again.
And there is a ‘Buy now’ button.
