This amazing song (and video) again.

Love it. Didn't I introduce you to them? Not sure if it was you but I'm quite sure I told a Finnish member about them. I will listen to them once I get home.

Rich:

Are you on marriage three or more?

No, never married. The problem is that the woman I really like and I had an argument and now she doesn't want to talk me anymore.... Feel bad about it, but determined to get her back.

I knew them before, but I can remember you telling that you were a fan in some age old thread!

Yeah, but I like living life on the edgeCool

For the fella's above, if it's any consolation a whole heap (ok, about 4) of single girls I know were complaining that they didn't get so much as a card on valentines day. Lots of miserable wimmin. Hang on, maybe........

Bring them on, Snok!

Yes! One of my all time favorite songs. I personally prefer the recording found on the "Clapton Chronicles" album. Amazing. Simply amazing.

EDIT: Looking over some youtube videos of Clapton' Layla unplugged, sounds like we are on the same page (same recording)! Brilliant taste you have there!!!!!

YesYesYesYesYes

Right back atcha Wink I will check out Bell Bottom Blues, Rich!

Today I choose "Fleetwood Mac - Rumours" - brilliant album! A very nice combo of fantastic music and an awesome recording.

Resist the temptation to touch it on Spotify (and the recording they got it from, I suppose). What a horrible mastering - totally ruined Sad

Right now I'm listening to my all time favorite vocalist, Florence + The Machine. Right now, on the Lungs album, track No. 8 is spinning, Between Two Lungs. In a few minutes No. 11 will spin up, Hurricane Drunk, likely my favorite song of all time. Cannot wait to hear it on my cubes!

Currently listening to Philip Glass' Koyaanisqatsi sound track on the Tour de Force system.

Is it weird for a 20 year old to listen to such things?! My instincts tell me I'm not acting my age! Stick out tongue

Ok, good to hear! I haven't listened to him since last spring, I'm so glad I went back and re-listened. So far I've only bought this album, Einstein on the Beach is next!

You need the "Glass Box"!

Last summer I was at a concert where his apprentice, Nico Muhly performed a Glass piece (Mad Rush) and conducted some of his own. A great evening. Spot me in the picture Big Smile

I can recommend Glass's soundtrack to the film "Mishima."  Great score.  Awful movie to watch.  Anyone familiar with Mishima's life, and how it ended, probably understands.

I had the Mishima LP back in college in the 80s - probably traded it in the 90s but I'll look for it tonight.

I'm loving this. Vince Clarke & Martin Gore have teamed up together on a new (techno) album: http://thequietus.com/articles/08161-vcmg-martin-l-gore-vince-clarke-depeche-mode-interview

Listening to the album (it's on the web page above) on my BL3s and, as it's all analogue synths, the quality is fantastic.
