Sound impressions vs the 50s?

Razlaw:Thanks all! As for the sound compared to the 50s, to my ears, in my room, at the volumes I listen to, they are very close. So far I tend to think I even like them a bit better?! I find them more relaxing to listen to. I think maybe with the 50s I was always listening to the speakers to hear how perfect they were instead of just enjoying the music. Perhaps I find the sound from the 28s a bit warmer overall, for lack of a better word. Still playing around with the settings and just had to re-pair them. One disappointment to me is that there is no ability to adjust the balance? My mistake, you are right, I just checked the sound settings and the balance is not available with bass/treble, I was pretty sure to have seen it somewhere in the app.
Thanks for the info regarding the black lamellas, I will check with my dealer, but as the frets are coming separately it should be possible to order them or find a way to get them, if ever one of them is breaking during the warranty period, they might have some stock available.

There is no left/right balance adjustment in the app for any of the speakers. I've seen this mentioned a handful of times on the forum by people out of frustration.
But the 28s look great and I'm super interested in how you end up finding the 28s vs. 50s.

There is no balance for the speakers directly that I'm aware of, but you can adjust balance through the BV. I have my 28s, 50s and 18s set up that way for various listening scenarios though the controls in my Harmonys.

Razlaw:Thanks again for all of the compliments. Now I hope someone can help with a problem, while I wait to hear back from my dealer. 28s were installed completely wireless with powerlink to my BV7, one for each speaker. Everything worked but there was some interference from other wifi devices with the wireless connection between the two 28s. As a result the two 28s are now connected with an Ethernet cable. They are now working great. Problem is when I turn on the BV7, the primary 28 does not turn on. The secondary one does. I have checked the connections. I have checked for sound in the speaker menu. Nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks! Edit….a reboot solved it. Can you watch the BV without sound, and at the same time listen to music from the Beolab 28? and if you use them with the BV through PL, and then starts to stream music to them, do they switch to music, so streaming is prioritized over PL or the other way around?

Hi, I’m new to the forum. Can anybody help me.
I have a harmony with the BO28 and after 2 month one of the subwoofers was faulty and rattling. My local BO changed this. But now, when I’m watching TV I get clicking noises every 15/20 minutes from the left tower. Not from the subwoofer. But clicking from the speaker. It sounds like static popping noises but I’m aware BO28 won’t do this.
has anybody else had issues with the BO28 and more importantly does anybody else experience the popping/clicking noises ?

On a brand new speaker that is unquestionably under warranty and has already suffered from a warrantied repair, IMHO, this absolutely merits outreach to your dealer.

Hi, do you hear these noises when you use the volume control?
I have the same problem, but did find out that it is one of the powerlink connections. Probably a grounding issue.
