Recently bought a Stelvio in this blue. A fantastic car to drive as it uses mainly aluminium for the body and carbon fibre for the driveshaft. Makes its competitors feel like driving a truck!

Chris Townsend:I haven’t sat in one yet. We had a look at the Mito a few years back and found it a disappointment. It seemed to have lost its Italian roots and resembled a Toyota! Ended up with a Fiat 500 which is a great retake on that classic car. Unfortunately everyone including the kids have outgrown it.
The Mito was a bad move by Alfa Romeo; a rebodied Grande Punto/Corsa. They won’t be doing that again since they moved upmarket to cover the cost of Alfas only be built in Italy. A bit like B&O sticking to Struer production for everything. Also a bit like B&O is the authenticity of the aluminium gearshift paddles. The Stelvio is more like an Italian equivalent to an X5.
Chris Townsend:My wife has a very bad back, so we are getting a Citroen C6 from a specialist called Wolsey House Motors in Norfolk. They take 2 weeks to prepare the car, and you pay for it, but it’s common sense in the long run. They even deliver it with only a £500 deposit payed. If you don’t like the car, they shake your hand and give you your deposit back. Good old fashioned retailing. https://youtu.be/HLrrXtRJbJ0 https://youtu.be/0qzuFE1AIew Can’t wait Beovision Eclipse, Beolit 15, Beoplay A2, H6/H2, Form 2, Beoplay A3, Beovision 5-42 connected to a DVD1
Really? Taking a photo on your phone whilst overtaking at 64 mph?
Hope you fly your planes more safely
Chris Townsend:What would or could replace it?
Wasn’t offended, just surprised. I’m sure you possess more skill than most of us put together!

Chris Townsend: I was thinking just that on the way home. What would or could replace it? Got nearly 40 MPG which was better than I expected, and its ride is super comfortable. Love it.

Which engine do you have= The 2.7 Hdif?
Vähintään yhdeksänkymmentä prosenttia suomalainen!
I think some sort of air suspension is the only thing that is in the same league. Everything else will just feel like a horse wagon ;-)
The c6 is guaranteed to be a future classic as the last big Citroen since ds entered the market as the psa groups premium brand. A great car but it was too expensive and only 23,400 were produced. I'll be adding one to my collection in the next few years to keep as a classic.
Double post
Chris Townsend:2.7 litre.
40 mpg sounds about right to me. I drove a C6 2.7 when it was introduced, back in the days. It was black with a black leather interior. Lovely car. A pretty rare sight today, at least where I live. Hope you get many comfortable miles out of yours. There is one over here that’s covered over 250k miles without any large issues.
Tucker:I am currently at the 12 Hours of Sebring race where WEC raced yesterday and the Bang & Olufsen car did quite well. Today we are enjoying the IMSA race where there are currently a few hours left if you can catch it on TV. Great racing.
Cool stuff! Good to hear you’re having a great time!
