i don’t really keep up with B&O these days, but just sounded interesting. I half thought it may have been well known and it is just me yet to catch up on the news?

Exciting news...!
I thought soon to change my beovision 10
Hiort:A “stand-alone” TV. No powerlink connections. LG CX panel. Unsure about netlink. Square design. Wood front option. 48”
Aussie Michael:Sounds nice. Suited perfectly to the Stage then I would imagine. @Tayne... good find
yes, built in speakers
Curious about the stand too..., and i hope the price will be agressive 😅

Oh I'm sure the price will be aggressive. In fact, I expect the price to be downright hostile.

* Yes, really! 🤦♂️
Sandyb:I’m presuming it has its own built in speaker? Otherwise it would just be a CX So, not sure if it would be an obvious candidate for a Stage
Maybe it is going to be an integration of a 48" OLED with the Stage on a nice stand? One complete package without WISA or PL but with NL. Let's see.
Since that page is still online, it seems to be a teaser.....accepted from B&O ;-))))
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV

Come on Miki, when?
laseralex: Steph: Curious about the stand too..., and i hope the price will be agressive 😅 Oh I'm sure the price will be aggressive. In fact, I expect the price to be downright hostile.
The price I heard is a bit steeper than I expected for an LG CX48" OLED + Stage-ish sound in a nice package.....
To be expected no?
There has to be some premium for wrapping it all up in a nice package I guess.
How nice remains to be seen, and how much of a premium too.
So obviously too early to judge.
Anyway, good for those who want a smaller BV.
In the Uk the CX 48 is 1500, the Stage is 1250. Thats 2750 before stand.
I'd be very surprised if this Contour is any less then 4000.

My guess: 5.000? Or maybe 4.500 just like the Horizon 48.
Agreed, my comment that it would be no less than 4000 GBP really meant it would be closer to 5000.
Guess everyone should adjust their expectations accordingly.
Cue a mass back and forth debate about the "premium" or "value added".
If there are no power link connections to add other speakers, then that debate may get very heated!
`
Fansastic:Plus stand, plus beoremote one, stage + LG are close to 4000 pound already, isn’t it? Horizon 48” was €5000, guess it will be around that price mark. Nice to have a new Horizon on the horizon!

kuyttendaele:My guess... 4500€/5000€ range...
And another 500-1500€ for a stand too, probably.
I remember the Beovision Horizon 40 with Beoremote one BT cost 2995 € (without stand) : that was for me a very aggressive price!
Of course, the 48 version cost a lot more (4395 €) : too many price differences
Millemissen: Mikipidia: yes, built in speakers Come on Miki, when? MM
Is that what you are going to see on the 5th of november....as you wrote about in your dutch thread (if Google har translated correct)?
seethroughyou:Don’t you think B&O is getting too premium and where is the value at this price point when I can buy a similarly specified TV from Amazon for only €900 including a sound bar. No powerlink is criminal..........blah blah blah..... Just kidding!

Miki is going to see the V2...😅
Thanks ButziBaer, very interesting, but the price... Ouch!
Steph: Thanks ButziBaer, very interesting, but the price... Ouch!
A lot of money, yes - but it is actually less than what a BV10-40 did cost, when that was launched.
The/my biggest question however is, will it be based on a Stage engine or will there be more?
48 is an interesting size for small european lounge.
Yes, my Beovision 10 was more expensive but had full options (AR screen, motor floor stand, ML, PL,...)
But let’s see... After all, a new Beovision is always a good news 😊
on the webpage of a dealer ... coming soon ...

The beovision Gen 2 is coming next week :)
Millemissen: ...but it is actually less than what a BV10-40 did cost, when that was launched.
...and let's be honest: what was 40" at the time of BV10 launch today is 55". In a sense of a mainstream screen size.
So 48" is fine and all (I have a 49" LG in my second home and it's great) but pricing comparison I guess would need to be done against a different benchmark.
However let's see specs and the design, and let's hope it's a bestseller
Can you describe the frame? Alu? Same with the lower part. The speaker. Fabric, Alu or wood?
